Project Details

The Basil Paye and Ladville options are situated close to the town of Shurugwi, an administrative center in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe located approximately 350 km south of Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe and approximately 30 km south-east of the city of Gweru. Gweru is the third largest city in Zimbabwe and a center of light to heavy industry and commerce.

More specifically, the Basil Payne Option claims are west of the Great Dyke of Zimbabwe and comprise of four contiguous blocks with a total area of approximately 28.5 hectares.

The Ladville Option (Ashtonkop) claims include a north and south block of contiguous base metal claims with the area being under explored.

The Ladville Option (Ultimus) claims are situated approximately 2.5 km west of the Tibikwe claims where several gold mines are situated. Both of the two of the Ladville claims are situated approximately 22 km south-east of Gweru.

All of New Dawn’s option claims are under the jurisdiction of the Government Mining Commissioner in Gweru and have been pegged in accordance with the provisions of the Zimbabwe Mines and Minerals Act.
